On 22 October, the open Studio beta period ended. A week before that date, we caught something we should have caught sooner: the transition code would have moved beta accounts straight to Free, immediately applying Free limits to setups people had already built.
Nothing would have been deleted. But a server with automations, ticket panels and feeds could have started hitting limits overnight, even though our documentation promised existing setups would stay available until their owners chose what to do next.
That was our mistake. We fixed the transition before it happened. Here’s what actually applies now.
Legacy stays until 5 December
If you joined during the beta, your account is on Legacy through the end of 5 December 2026.
- Your existing setup keeps running and stays editable. That includes configured modules, automations, rules, panels, feeds and scheduled messages.
- New setups follow Free limits. Adding another automation, command, panel or server doesn’t give you unlimited beta capacity.
- Switching a paid feature off matters. If you disable a feature that needs an upgrade, turning it back on requires the matching plan or server upgrade. Qreate warns you before you disable it.
- There’s no automatic purchase. We will not move you to a paid plan or charge you without your choice.
On 6 December, Legacy protection ends. Your account continues on Free unless you’ve chosen something else. Nothing is deleted simply because Legacy ends, but features or capacity beyond Free limits need Pro or the relevant per-server upgrade to remain available.
You don’t have to buy everything
We’ve also simplified the plans since the beta.
Free gives you one server and access to the modules within starter limits. Pro covers two servers, unlocks every Pro function across the modules, and raises limits for automations, commands, announcements and tickets. The current euro price is €12.90 per month including VAT, with a 3-day Pro trial.
Or you can use the Personal plan through Plan builder: pick the upgrades a particular server needs instead of buying Pro for the whole account. The pricing page currently shows per-server upgrades in the €2.90 to €6.90 per month range, and extra server slots at €0.50 per month. Your final price is shown before checkout.
The point is choice: keep one simple server free, upgrade a specific one, or give multiple servers full Pro features.
Q can still talk. Building has its own allowance.
There’s an important difference between talking with Q and asking Q to carry out AI-powered work.
Ordinary conversations and questions count toward a daily message limit, not the building allowance. Free currently includes 40 messages to Q a day; Pro includes 150. Building setups, preparing changes, creating images, looking things up on the web, and AI work inside services consume an allowance or credits.
Usage is shared across the servers on your account. The Usage page shows what you’ve used, what refills next, and whether Continue with credits when the allowance runs out is enabled. When the building allowance runs out, Q can still answer questions; credit-consuming work waits for a refill unless you’ve allowed credits to cover it.
To help with the transition, every beta account received 100 credits that never expire. They’re there for when the included allowance isn’t enough.
AI moderation and image moderation are paid features, so they don’t continue under Legacy alone. Ordinary moderation, anti-spam and raid protection keep working without spending that AI allowance.
We also fixed two gaps in usage tracking
While checking the transition, we audited where Qreate calls AI models. We found two paths that weren’t being counted correctly: Briefings and Trade Calls. Both could run AI work without attributing it to the account using it.
We’ve corrected that. These features now count toward usage like other AI-powered work, and a briefing that can’t run because an allowance is exhausted records the reason in its history instead of failing silently.
One thing to check now
Open Usage and review your allowance, refill information and the continue-with-credits switch. Then open Pricing and Plan builder before 5 December to see what your servers actually need.
You can stay on Free, choose only the upgrades you want, or move to Pro. The decision, and any payment, stays yours.
